Glass is the most magical of all materials and since 1995 it has been our endeavour at A.M. Glass International to bring that magic to life. At A.M. Glass International we design and manufacture artefacts which change the ambiance of a room.
While playing with its sculptural form and texture, our artisans create artefacts which are one of a kind. Considering each handcrafted artefact passes through 18 hands, while one may be similar to the other, two similar artefacts are never alike, giving each artefact its unique identity.
Process
The artefacts are mouth blown and handcrafted by skilled artisans. When coloured glass is in its molten state at 1500 degree Celsius, a craftsman gathers a coloured gob on the blow pipe and blows that gathered molten glass into a cast to achieve a desired shape. Once the blown shape cools down over the course of 48-72 hours, skilled artisans work on it with special tools to give it the desired texture/ pattern.
